Should I get an XBOX 360 or PS3?

my research but I just can’t come to a conclusion. I wanted an XBOX because of the line-up of games that are available now and the ones that are coming out soon. Fable 2 and Soul Calibur are on the top of my list while Star Ocean, Final Fantasy XIII and the Last Remnant are games that I’d like to get Later, It’s cheaper and the two games that I want will be available when I get it which is awesome.

But I’ve read that the XBOX doesn’t have built in wi-fi and it cost around 50 bucks for the online services. Not to mention my worry about the RRoD…

Then the PS3…some versions don’t have backwards compatibility with PS1 and PS2 games. I’ve already tried searching for a 20GB or 60GB model and so far all I’ve found are overpriced 60GB. Also the types of games are very limited. There are alot of shooters and sports game available which I don’t really care for. If I did get a PS3 the only games I’d be playing would be soul calibur 4 and the soon to be released Monster Hunter Freedom Unite. (which is a PSP game)

So I need some advice…

It depends on what you really want. The Xbox is unrivaled as far as game choices are concerned and the PS3 has a pretty meager list by comparison. But the PS3 also doubles as a Blu-Ray player and is known to be much more reliable than the 360. The 360 does have Xbox Live which does cost about $50 or $60 a year but you can’t beat an online community as good as that.

If you’re looking for a long list of games and great multiplayer options the 360 is for you. If you want a reliable machine with really pretty games that plays Blu-Ray movies I suggest the PS3

Get a ps3. 360 costs an xtra 100 for the wireless internet router. Ps3 has better hardware. Games[since ur a girl go with this since ps3 has better variety in genre of games]. 360 focus on shooters more. Ps3 has smoother gameplay and graphics.

Go to youtube and look up ps3 vs. Xbox360. It compares in good detail for u

Please do yourself a favour and get a PS3!!!!

Listen, the 360 is quality and has some fantastic games, but the PS3 is so much more advanced and will give so much more for your money in the long run. I could rattle on for ages why but just some examples are that online play is THE ONLY way to games on next gen and the PS3 is free forever whereas microsoft charge you. Also, the games have now reached the same level as the 360 after a shaky start and that on top of better graphics make it a much better console all round. Finally, the disc of the future (used by hollywood) and a blue ray player would set you back about £400 and it is all ready a blue ray player. Yes it is expensive but trust it is so worth it compared the other consoles!!!!

Both have pros and cons, but the ultimate choice is an XBOX 360.

The library of games is much more extensive and will continue to be that way until the price of creating Blu-Ray goes down. There is a negligible difference in graphics, if any, and more selection for genre types.

Many will say about PS3 being a Blu-Ray player and game system. That should not even cross your mind. The player is inferior to players that you can buy for around 200$-300$ (Sony BDP-350). Plus, if you don’t have a 1080p TV 40″ or more, you won’t even get enjoy the best picture you can get from the Blu-Ray player.
