Janet
I need some help with my 360 I have done a trade with my brother I traded my dsi for his xbox 360 plus some games so the deal turned out good and the when i turned on my 360 it was working fine so I decided to play a game and i popped in “Infinite undiscovery” I played the game for about 34 minutes (Because your able to pause the game and see how long you’ve been playing it) And the 360 was working fine i wasn’t expecting this to happen
So after i was done with infinte undiscovery I decided to play a different game Condemned The first one not the second one.. anyways I had to start a new game because my gamer profile was deleted so after i did the crime scene thing And about ten minutes later i killed my first enemy Yay
Then about a few more minutes later when it just tells you how to kick I met another enemy and i was in a little room with some lights come through the windows so i tried to kill the guy but for some reason his A.I. Was Very high and he was hard to hit Because i was only able to use the handgun at the time So i was just hitting with the handgun i hit him once and his weapon flew out of his hand i tried to hit him again but he keep grabbing me So much until i died so then it was at the loading screen and i noticed that it froze so i thought it was the disc so I turned off the 360 useing the console button then turned it back on and it was taking forever to start up so i reset it again about 2 more times and then i waited about 15 minutes and then i see the most horrible thing the three rings of death
I never new that would happen to this 360 i thought we had a good model because we had it for about 3 years this happened about a week ago and i really need to fix my 360 all i have now is a normal xbox and it’s hard to find games for it so i want to know if theres any free and easy way to fix my xbox 360 I’m glad you had the time to read all of this Thanks
Okay i was playing “WET” on my xbox 360 and the picture suddenly froze and had colourful lines going from top to the bottom of the screen .
So i turned of my xbox by the power button , then back on again and i get 3 red flashing lights .
Approx 20 min later i try to turn it on again and the xbox works and plays games but only for like 5 minutes before doing freezing and RROD’ing again ?
Is this some usual issue or should i use the X’clamp fix on it ?
Thanks , i was just making sure its not like a lame power cable error
, unfortunately or fortunately shoul i say my xbox is m0dded
so i cant send it to MS
But i do know how to x’clamp fix so its fine i guess , As soon as i can ill rate yours as the Best Answer !
As I was playing a new game on my old xbox 360, it froze, and when I went to turn it back on, it got the 3 red rings, and it wouldn’t turn back on. So 2 days later, I bought an xbox 360 elite brand new at target, and when I hooked it up, 5 minutes into setting up the internet connection, it froze, and it got the 3 rings. I was pissed so I returned it the next day at target, and got a new one. So i set it up, and this time it froze and got the red rings when I signed into xbox live. wtf! why is this happening, somebody please tell me what I should do. I don’t feel like sending it to microsoft because I don’t want to wait 6 weeks.
I bought a modded 360 2 weeks ago. I’ve burned 5 games so far and they all appeared to work fine. I have barely played the system since I bought it. I burned a game tonight and when I put it in I got the red lights. It loaded the second time. I was just testing it. Then about 30 minutes later I tried to turn the xbox on and now I’m only getting the red lights. Was it the game that causes it or is it just the system crapping out?
I’m on my 3rd 360 console because the others died soon or later from the Red Ring of Death system failure error. I just started downloading all sorts of stuff after getting Xbox Live recently, so I’m wondering if the system I have right now crashes and breaks, is there a way I can transfer all the games I downloaded and payed for onto a new console’s hard drive?
really awesome game, please, i need answers.
If you have found yourself reading this article then no doubt you are looking for a quick way to get your broken Xbox 360 repaired. Well you are not alone! A lot of people have been having problems with Microsoft’s latest console and the biggest problem seems to be the 3 red lights error which is signified when you get 3 flashing red lights on the front of the console.
With an estimated thirty percent of all xbox 360’s sold around the world experiencing problems it is no wonder that owners of these consoles are seeking ways to repair the units themselves. Microsoft has admitted that there are some problems with their consoles and are working on improving the design, however this is little comfort to people that have an original unit that is out of warranty and they are faced with either waiting weeks and paying out up to one hundred dollars for a repair that is not always successful or attempting the repair themselves.
A lot of people think the “Red Ring of Death” comes from overheating which in turn short circuits something in your XBOX 360. Nobody really knows but there have been suggestions to buy a cooling device, wrap it in a towel, basically if you do a search on any search site you will be bombarded with ideas from good to bad. But you shouldn’t just do anything to your XBOX 360 because after all, you did pay a couple hundred dollars for this system.
The problem has been acknowledged by Microsoft to be widespread and there has been reports of people buying a new XBOX 360 and having the “Red Ring of Death” appear within days. They bring it back to the store and exchange it for a new XBOX 360 only to have it happen again. This can be a very frustrating and the reason is occurs is unknown.
Luckily there has been research done by people on the internet who have had the problem and it looks like there has been progress made on finding out how to fix your XBOX 360 if this does happen to you.
The good news is that help is available in the form of repair guides that can be downloaded in an instant and the most useful ones come with videos to guide you step by step through the entire process. Many users of these guides report being able to fix their consoles in under an hour even when they are faced with the dreaded ‘red ring of death’ were one or more of the lights on the front of the unit flash red and games will not load. There are many issues that can be easily repaired by the console owner with the right repair guide and you need not wait weeks to get back to enjoying what you bought the console for in the first place – gaming and lots of it!
I hope this article has helped show you how you can get Xbox 360 Repair and the different options that you have, and I wish you all the luck with getting your Xbox 360 back.
